Our service is based in the SF Bay Area and operates on the values and principles of the Gift Economy paradigm. Lotus Peace Retreats is currently in the formative stage and expects to offer our first retreat in early 2009.
VISION: We envision a Life Serving Society where everyone’s needs are met and where justice and peace reign supreme. Our Earth’s biological diversity, natural systems, and precious resources are honored, cherished, and protected. All beings are treated with compassion and respected as important and integral contributors in the deeply interconnected Web of Life.
MISSION: Our mission is to join with you to harness the co-creative power and manifestation force of community in order to move through the “Great Turning†from the dominant Corporate Industrial Society to the co-creation of a sustainable Life Serving Society. Utilizing the vehicles of retreat practice and workshops, we will share valuable knowledge, skills, tools, and resources in alignment with sustainability values in order to achieve the vision.
SERVICES: We offer retreats and workshops in alignment and synergy with the universal forces of higher good on a donation basis. Individuals empower themselves in placing their own value on the service offering and in choosing how they wish to pay the gift forward.
Within a safe and supportive retreat environment, a seasoned facilitator guides small groups through a deeply connecting, healing and transformative journey in which we explore the terrain of sustainable culture via experiential exercises and rituals. Peace retreats are fun, empowering, and rewarding! We serve teens, women, and the LGBT community.
